What is Killer Sudoku?
Killer Sudoku follows the standard 9x9 Sudoku rules but replaces givens with "cages." Each cage shows a sum, and digits cannot repeat inside a single cage.
Standard Sudoku rules still apply for rows, columns, and 3x3 boxes.
Cages are groups of cells with a target sum displayed in the top-left.
No duplicate digits are allowed inside a single cage, regardless of rows or boxes.
Quick Start Guide
The "3" Cage
A 2-cell cage that sums to 3 MUST be 1 and 2. It's one of the best ways to start a puzzle.
The Rule of 45
Every row, column, and box must sum to exactly 45. Use this to find missing digits in cages that cross borders.
